## What it's known for

Flagship bar of Gebrouwen door Vrouwen (‘Brewed by Women’), the brewery started by two Amsterdam sisters, with all their beers on tap, organic lemonades and snacks. It hosts tastings, parties and pub quizzes, some in English. Open 3pm to midnight Monday to Wednesday, 3pm to 1am Thursday, 3pm to 3am Friday, 1pm to 3am Saturday and 1pm to 10pm Sunday.

Walk-ins welcome; email bar@gebrouwendoorvrouwen.nl to hold a table. There's no dinner menu, but you can order in from neighbouring restaurants.
