## What it's known for

The north-side outpost of Bridgeport's Marz Community Brewing: a small, arty brewery taproom inspired by Eastern European workers' clubs and listening lounges, with Marz's beers, non-alcoholic drinks, a big tinned-fish menu and DJs, talks and karaoke. Open 4pm to 11pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 4pm to midnight Thursday and Friday and 3pm to midnight Saturday and Sunday (Marz's own site; Life on Marz's page shows slightly different times, so check). Closed Monday.

One door south of Margie's Candies, at the Western/Armitage/Milwaukee junction near the Western Blue Line stop. No reservations. The latest-closing stop on this route.
