## What it's known for

Colorado's first brewpub, opened in 1988 by a group that included future mayor, governor and senator John Hickenlooper, in an 1888 warehouse in LoDo. Pub food on the ground floor, a 20-plus-table billiards hall upstairs and comedy in the basement; beers range from Rail Yard amber to the infamous Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout. Opens 11am daily (listings show it open to midnight, 1am Friday and Saturday).

Two blocks from Union Station (light rail, A Line, buses) and three from Coors Field, so it is packed before Rockies games.
