## What it's known for

Hidden up an alley between the Baixa and Alfama, this is the beer geek's bar: about 15 taps and 300-plus bottles and cans, many of them imports you won't find elsewhere in Portugal, alongside local brewers such as Oitava Colina and Dois Corvos and its own Aguarela Beer Co. line. Natural wine, board games and pizza too. Open 5pm to 11pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 5pm to 1am Friday and Saturday. Closed Tuesday.

Look for the alley off Rua dos Bacalhoeiros near the Casa dos Bicos; it's easy to walk past. Closed on Tuesdays (some listings say Monday, so check before a Monday visit).

Check opening hours with the venue before you go: they change, especially early in the week.
