## What it's known for

The original arcade bar, opened in October 2004 in a former industrial building: a long list of American craft beer on draft alongside rows of 1980s arcade cabinets and pinball machines that still take quarter tokens. It hosted many of the city's early tap takeovers and is still a beer bar first. Open 4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 4am Friday, noon to 4am Saturday and noon to 2am Sunday.

Barcade announced in July 2026 that this original location will close when its lease ends in under 1,000 days (around spring 2029), so it's on borrowed time. Strictly 21+ with physical ID except on designated Family Days. Metropolitan Av/Lorimer St (L/G) is a few minutes away.
