## What it's known for

The smaller, cosier North Brooklyn outpost of Gowanus brewery Threes, known for crisp lagers and hoppy ales: a marble-topped main bar under stained-glass transoms, a full food menu from Grand Army, and a bottle shop for cans to go. Open 4pm to midnight Monday to Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 11pm Sunday.

On the corner of Franklin and Kent Streets. Greenpoint Av (G) is about 10 minutes' walk, and the NYC Ferry stops at Greenpoint (India Street). No reservations needed.

Check opening hours with the venue before you go: they change, especially early in the week.
