## What it's known for

Gowanus brewery specialising in crisp Czech-style lagers (its Hexenkessel schwarzbier won at the 2026 New York State Governor's Cup), plus farmhouse ales, IPAs and sours, poured from a big U-shaped bar in a wood-panelled taproom. Cask Marque accredited; dogs and outside food welcome, with pop-ups most weekends. Open 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 9pm Sunday.

Two minutes' walk from Forever Brewing and Threes; Union St (R). It occasionally closes to the public for ticketed events, so check its calendar.
