## What it's known for

Down by the river in Miragaia, the Porto bar of Tough Love, a brewery from Esmoriz near Aveiro. It has 13 rotating taps of Portuguese beer and fridges of hard-to-find international cans (the bar has stocked the likes of Lervig and Ārpus). The food is fried bar snacks. Open Monday to Thursday 4pm to midnight, Friday 4pm to 1am, Saturday 2pm to 1am and Sunday 2pm to midnight.

Tough Love's own beers are often a minority on the taps. It's an airy room with a raised back area and a terrace.
