# Crawl responsibly

> How to enjoy a craft beer crawl safely: pacing, alcohol-free options, food, water and getting home.

A crawl is about tasting good beer in good bars, not about how much you drink.

## You don't need a drink at every stop

Order a half, a taster or a schooner where you can, share, or have an alcohol-free beer or a soft drink. Your passport stamp is per visit, not per drink, and skipping a stop is always fine.

## Eat and drink water

Eat before you start and along the way: several venues on our routes serve food. Have a glass of water between stops.

## Know the strength

Craft beers are often stronger than standard lager, sometimes 7% ABV or more. Check the ABV on the board and pace yourself.

## Getting home

Never drink and drive. Plan your way home before you start: walk, take public transport or book a taxi.

## 18+ only

You must be 18 or over to use this site. 18 is also the legal age to buy alcohol in Ireland, the UK and Spain, and bars may ask for ID.
