## What it's known for

Kearny Mesa brewery Kilowatt's OB satellite, in a former motorcycle shop just off Newport Avenue: blacklight art, neon and a rotating board of small-batch beers, with drink-and-draw nights on Thursdays. Open noon to 11pm Sunday to Thursday and noon to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Around the corner from California Wild Ales; the two are a minute apart.
