## What it's known for

The first brewery on Newport Avenue, opened in 2016: three floors topped by an open-air rooftop built to be the highest point in OB, looking over the pier and the surf. Its Dunkel won GABF silver in 2017 and it was named Very Small Brewpub of the Year at GABF 2018. Food served. Open 11am to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am to 10pm Friday and Saturday.

The finish, two blocks from the beach: time it for sunset and bring a layer. The building was listed for sale in July 2026 but the brewery is operating as normal; check before you go.

Check opening hours with the venue before you go: they change, especially early in the week.
