What it's known for
Unspoilt old-Dublin pub opposite Christ Church Cathedral, a pub since the late 1890s on a site licensed long before, with a gas-lit ground-floor bar and a quiet upstairs lounge.
Named after the 1798 rebel Lord Edward FitzGerald. The upstairs lounge looks out on the cathedral.
Check opening hours with the venue before you go: they change, especially early in the week.
