  3. The Errigle Inn

    312–320 Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 2GE

  4. Northern Lights

    451 Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 3GQ

Galway Bay's Belfast bar, almost opposite the Errigle, with up to 20 changing taps (about half Galway Bay) and a big bottle and can list. Upstairs games room, food daily.

The Woodworkers to the Errigle is the long leg (about 1.9 km, 25 min, via University Street and over to the Ormeau Road). The 7A–7D Metro buses run along the Ormeau Road if you'd rather ride.

The Errigle and Northern Lights are almost opposite each other, so finish with both. Want beer to take home? The Vineyard off-licence (375–377 Ormeau Road) is between them.

Alcohol-free and pacing: ask at the bar for alcohol-free beers and soft drinks, and remember a half is always fine. Eat along the way, drink water between stops, and skip a stop whenever you like. More tips.
