What it's known for
Birmingham's best-known specialist real-ale pub, run by the same landlord for more than 20 years under Black Country Ales: around 27 handpumps over two floors (eight regulars and nine-plus guests, listed on its famous beer board), real cider, and big gin and whisky ranges, plus a roof terrace. Open 10am–midnight every day.
Over-18s only. Only cobs and pork pies are sold, but you can bring your own food and they'll provide plates.
Check opening hours with the venue before you go: they change, especially early in the week.
