Lisbon Craft Beer Crawl

Lisbon is still a Sagres-and-Super-Bock city on most café terraces, but since Dois Corvos opened in a Marvila warehouse in 2015 it has built one of southern Europe's liveliest craft scenes. These self-guided crawls link it into three outings: the old town from Bica through the Baixa and the Sé up to Graça, the Intendente-to-Areeiro bars along the Avenida Almirante Reis, and the brewery taprooms of Beato, Marvila and Cabo Ruivo. Many bars open late afternoon and several close one or two days a week, so check the best day for each route. The hills are steep and the limestone pavements slippery, so trams, the metro and the odd taxi are part of the plan.
