Best time: Monday to Friday from about 5pm, when all five are open (sedm° is weekdays only). At weekends start at noon at Pivovarský klub or Dva kohouti and skip sedm°. Opening hours change, so check each venue before you set off.

   Sibeeria TapRoom

   City-centre taproom of Sibeeria, one of Czechia's best-known modern breweries, with 12 taps of its own beer, food including wings, and beer ice cream. Open daily 3pm–2am.

   Pivovarský klub Benedict

   Křižíkova 272/17, 186 00 Praha 8 – Karlín

   Beer bar and restaurant by Florenc built around Břevnov monastery beers, with around six taps of house and guest beers and a long bottle list. Open Monday to Saturday 11am–11:30pm and Sunday noon–10pm.

   Dva kohouti

   Sokolovská 81/55, 186 00 Praha 8 – Karlín

   Courtyard brewery and taproom from the Ambiente group, best known for its unfiltered Místní ležák (local lager) and a rotating line of its own beers. Open Monday to Friday 3pm–1am, Saturday noon–1am and Sunday noon–10pm.

   Sokolovská 73/63, 186 00 Praha 8 – Karlín

   Small specialist craft bar a few doors from Dva kohouti, with eight rotating taps, around 300 bottles and snacks. Open Monday to Friday 5pm–midnight; closed at weekends except for booked groups of 15 or more.

   Bad Flash Bar Karlín

   Březinova 451/21, 186 00 Praha 8 – Karlín

   Karlín branch of the Bad Flash craft bars, with 12 rotating taps; staff from the former Kulový blesk bar moved here. Open Monday to Friday 4pm–midnight and Saturday and Sunday 5pm–11pm.

Getting there: start at Soukenická, about 4 minutes from Metro B Náměstí Republiky. The route finishes in Karlín near Metro B Křižíkova and the Urxova tram stop.

Sibeeria TapRoom to Pivovarský klub (about 1.2 km) is the longest leg: east along Na Poříčí to Florenc, then under the railway into Křižíkova. A tram along Na Poříčí saves the walk.

Dva kohouti and sedm° are about 100 m apart on Sokolovská. Optional detour: Diego pivní bar (Sokolovská 114), about 150 m past Bad Flash, for Mexican food and a few more taps.
