Where Other Half began in 2014, at the meeting point of Carroll Gardens, Red Hook and Gowanus: the brewery that made New York synonymous with hazy, hoppy IPAs. Twenty draft beers (IPAs, lagers, wild ales, barrel-aged stouts) plus cider, wine and cans to go in a pleasantly sparse taproom. Light snacks only; bring your own food. Open noon to 10pm Monday to Thursday, noon to midnight Friday, 10am to midnight Saturday and 11am to 9pm Sunday.
Two blocks from Smith-9th Sts (F/G). Expect lines on weekends and around Friday can releases; weekdays are calmer.
