What it's known for
A pub site since the 1770s, rebuilt in 1895: mahogany, granite, stained glass and mirrors, hidden down a lane off Dame Street. It has starred in films and a Guinness ad, and pours a famous pint.
Food 12pm to 5pm daily. Reach it through the lane off Dame Street or from Exchequer Street.
Check opening hours with the venue before you go: they change, especially early in the week.
